Today most of my acquaintances and I received an email from our friend. “She” wrote how she got stuck in a hotel in London – the story went on in details how she and her husband were robbed in the street, police wouldn’t do anything to help – told them to wait for three weeks – and the hotel manager was not letting them leave until they paid.
I was wondering, if ANYONE is still buying such crap? Like, really? Could you come up with a more ridiculous story than one of someone suddenly flying over from Canada to London, getting robbed and not being able to leave a hotel?
I feel disappointed –scammers are so uninventive these days. It’s just wrong!
